For over past years Sahara Ventures through Sahara Sparks has been organizing Marketplaces. With more than 150 founders participating, 3000 startups registering to attend the Marketplace, 70 strategic partnerships created locally, regionally and globally. The marketplace is a platform created for startups to showcase their businesses, create new partners for their businesses, and meet potential investors to invest in their businesses. The 2022 Sahara Sparks Marketplace involved 17 early-stage startups, 8 Tanzanian startups, and 9 Regional startups from Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, Belgium, and India. Investors like Ali Dewji from Eureeca Crowdfunding, LoftyInc Capital, Bamboo Capital, Intercapital, Sanofi, Global Ventures, MTI Investment and Serengeti Angels Network who were impressed with some of the portfolios like Laina Finance, Dawa Mkononi, Batterygate investment, Nikkle and Bizzyn and some are in conversation. Sahara Accelerator is dedicated to making this platform grow exponentially, especially in supporting startups with mentorship and fundraising opportunities.

In 2023, the Sahara Accelerator Marketplace is taking a fairly different focus and approach. This year's focus is for 07 post revenue early-stage portfolios to create strategic partnerships with successful startups and innovation stakeholders across the globe.
